Whether you are an active full-time Mom (she can relate), an athlete looking to compliment your game with yoga, someone who sits at a desk during the day, or are recovering from an injury or surgery - everyone can benefit from yoga. Yoga is for everyone: men and women, athletes and non-athletes and people of all ages and sizes, new students and experienced practitioners. Yoga opens your body and calms your mind so that you leave your mat feeling relaxed, recharged and empowered. You are in the right place....and we want you to achieve greatness!
Tracey typically approaches an hour-long session with a series of physical poses designed to promote longevity and breath work to promote a stronger sense of peace. Your session will be based upon whatever mood, style or skill level you desire.
Yoga is a full body and mind practice that releases the negative effects of stress, anxiety, poor sleep and stuck tension. You will get a deep release from a variety of poses. Modifications for injuries or chronic conditions are provided when needed. Along with the physical poses, Tracey emphasizes the breath and encourages you to be nowhere but the present.
Clients are offered their own personal challenge under calm and compassionate instruction in their chosen environment. Simply Yoga will help you achieve the mind, body and spirit benefits of yoga that extend even beyond the mat. During a transitional period in her life, Tracey Gutman found power in the practice of yoga. It provided her with peace, happiness and authenticity in her life. Yoga realized her desire to live a more meaningful, intentional life. After many years working in corporate marketing, she is now passionately helping others discover the benefits of yoga. Tracey thrives on the joy of watching her students advance and grow.
Tracey has over 300 hours of training and experience in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga and Yoga Fit. She currently teaches one-on-one private clients as well as small group private classes. She is always learning and growing, as a teacher and a student. She believes that life can naturally tighten us so anything we can do to expand our mind and body will give us a greater sense of well-being. Her sense of humor encourages her students to be playful at times in order to find balance between effort and ease. Tracey teaches with acceptance and encouragement and wants to share yoga with as many people as possible.
